Anne Mazoyer welcomes the involvement and commitment of Mrs Elzbieta Bienkowska, Commissioner for the Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs, at the High-level conference on Retail in Brussels.

On Wednesday 19 June, at the High-level conference on Retail organised by DG Grow, and under her political impetus, Commissioner Bienkowska shared a set of key recommendations designed to help Member States overcome the obstacles impacting the sector.

These concrete actions, some of which were listed in the European White Paper presented on 10 April by the National Clothing Federation (FNH) to the EESC, aim to promote openness, integration and competitiveness. @FairValue_EU

Elzbieta Bienkowska, Commissioner for the Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs, explains that „the future of the European commerce sector […] depends on its ability to develop innovative models and make the most of new opportunities, including e-commerce. Commissioner Bienkowska also stressed the importance of appropriate legislation and reduced burdens”.
