Anne Mazoyer is taking part, alongside Bernard Morvan, President of the Fédération Nationale de l’Habillement (FNH), in the round table organised by Eurocommerce on innovations in the retail and large-scale trade sector to ensure the attractiveness of cities.
Christian Verschueren, Managing Director of Eurocommerce, opened this second edition. Tomasz Husak, Head of the Cabinet of Commissioner Elzbieta Bienkowska, stressed that the European Commission is currently looking at all the solutions that could revitalise city centres such as security, mobility and digital.
However, the problems of retail are also a question of productivity. Therefore, the European Commission needs to take a broader view, integrating other major issues related to the internal market that could have an impact on trade, which affects 33 million jobs in Europe.
The Fédération Nationale de l’Habillement (FNH), which is committed to the retail trade, is currently drafting a European White Paper on the revitalisation of city centres.
